Smokey Robinson celebrates B-Day

Daniel Ramos and Smokey Robinson in North Hollywood, California. R&B superstar Smokey Robinson stars in this world premiere of his one-man show, Words. Centered around six long-form original poems, Words features stories from Smokey's life and incredible career as a solo and group performer, songwriter, record executive and producer. Daniel Ramos - DGA / SAG/AFTRA

Daniel Ramos

A former Texan born and raised in San Antonio and now residing in the Los Angeles area for the last decade, Daniel is a member of the respected Directors Guild of America as well as SAG/AFTRA.

While studying Theatre Arts at Highlands High School he caught the acting bug and soon made his first TV appearance on "General Hospital" while shooting on location in Texas.

After attending San Antonio College and studying Radio, Television & Film Production Daniel later worked with Academy Award winning Director John G. Avildsen on the film 

'8 Seconds' where he was the Assistant to the Director and had a Role as a Bartender.

He is now the owner of Drop Zone Films, LLC., his own Production Company.
